Council
The Cape
Fear Workforce Development Board Youth Council is responsible
for handling youth related issues and concerns, recommending
providers of youth services and activities to the Workforce
Development Board, coordinating and overseeing youth activities,
and other responsibilities as assigned by the Workforce Development
Board.
Youth Council membership includes Cape Workforce Development
Board members, representatives of youth services agencies
including juvenile justice and law enforcement, parents of
eligible youth, public housing authority representatives,
former participants, Job Corp representatives, youth ages
16 to 19 and other appropriate individuals.
