m proud of the accomplishments of our Cape Fear Council of Governments
(COG). As you navigate our web site, I know you will agree we
have some of the best directors administering the most successful
award winning programs in North Carolina. Whether it is creating
jobs, assisting the elderly, or giving technical assistance
to our small towns and EMS providers, our COG is the leader.
The Regional
Growth Team has been good for our region as a vehicle for
promoting a close working relationship among our elected officials
and getting some overdue attention for our part of the State.
By working together, we have a much louder voice that cannot
be ignored when seeking outside help from Raleigh or Washington.
By helping each other, we create lasting friendships that
will bond us together as a region.
